I don't care what others have done in the past. White could do it and until proven one way or the other, there is a Chance.
+1 That's how I feel about it too. Every situation is different. I get frustrated a bit when I hear about how a present player or coach will do - based upon other people. It's just one of my quirks I guess.
And the broken leg/ankle thing is something that could have happened to any player. Even a 300+ pound lineman. It's just a stroke of bad luck, IMHO.
I agree with MOTM from one point of view, a pick that high has to at least contribute, injuries notwithstanding. You at the very minimum have to be an average player by your second year. But it is what it is.
That's all I ask for when it comes to a top 10 pick. Average play shouldn't be hard seeing that you got picked that high in the draft. We shouldn't have to wait 3-4 years just to see if a player is average or not.
I don't see White becoming a threat. Dude hardly was when he played while being the most targeted WR yet the one with the least amount of yards and most drop balls.
It's not his fault he dropped them. The ball is pointy and hard to catch.
