I can't wait to see his defenses perform this year. He is a perfect fit for this team. The D will be even more exciting to watch play. If the Bears offense can take another step this year (and I think it will be a lot better) and the team can sign a solid kicker, I think we could have a SB winning caliber team this coming year. Injuries are the only thing I fear. They can cripple any team's chances.

If you don't believe his talk just watch film of his defenses. They'll show you what he talked about. He's aggressive, he comes with innovative blitz packages, and his players love playing for him. It's not like the evidence isn't out there.

He was DC for one year....that's the only year anyone can say it was "his" defense if we are going to just be honest.
Right now IMO he is in that spectrum of....could be bad to could be great...It's not as bad as some of the question marks i felt for Nagy lol but that's been a decent experience so far, so what the hell
At least he has coached on all of the levels(Positions Coach/Coordinator/HC)...I'm comfortable giving the guy an honest "judgmental free" chance, but the 8 week clock will be ticking..pending injuries(knock on wood)

Ok...my point remains though...the film backs up the talk. Are you expecting Nagy to drastically change his play calling next year and not be what he was this year? The point was not about whether he'll be good or bad as DC...it was about his style of defense. He said he wants an aggressive defense that wreaks havoc with calculated blitzes...as I said...film backs that up. Results are something else entirely.
