Just like the title says. With White hurt again and no idea on if he'll play again this season there is no one to replace Jeffery next year. If Jeffery doesn't have any major setbacks this season I think the Bears have to sign Jeffery to a long term deal.

I know AJ is on pace to reach 1200 yards but.....he's injured/hobbled yet again with another one of his patented muscle pulls (per Brad Biggs). He's made some nice "jump ball" plays but hasn't found the end zone yet.

Besides, under the FT, I don't think the team can even negotiate with him until the end of the season.

To me it is not a matter of should they, but rather for how much?

And then "how much" depends on his outcome of health and *production this year.

*production meaning he should probably
1) get a TD soon this year
and most importantly
2) STOP REGRESSING!!! lmao 105, 96, 70, 46....those are his #'s this year in order of week(1,2,3,4)...and yes MOTM, that means AJ sucked ass against that terrible Det defense

We have let some solid O players go. I'm hoping we don't continue to do that. Let's add talent to what we have and do better than this 15.5 points per game average we now have.

I don't remember Hoyer targeting him very often, but did not see the official stats

Is it Jeffery's fault that he's regressing or the QB's fault. The majority of targets have been going to White so far. Jeffery's targets are way down compared to what they normally are and that's hurting his stats. He's still one of the top receivers for catches down field though.

I would like to know if he's not getting the ball because he's not open, the QB isn't throwing it to him or the play calling just isn't going in his favor.
