Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports reports that Rodgers has grown “frustrated” and “emotional” with the organization in connection with some critical moves that have been made this offseason, including the decision to replace quarterbacks coach Alex Van Pelt and the release of receiver Jordy Nelson.
“Both of those decisions were made without him,” an unnamed source close to Rodgers told Robinson. “In both situations, he had no influence with [the front office] before anything went down.”
The source has tried to connect Rodgers’ frustrations to his lingering contract extension.
“I know he’s thinking about that stuff when it comes to the next contract because he should have earned a voice by now,” the source said. “In other places with [elite] quarterbacks, consideration is given to those guys. I think Aaron wants to be engaged in some decisions. But that’s just not the way it works [in Green Bay]. I think that’s obviously frustrating and it’s going to keep coming o
Matters not... We have control of him for the next four years... He should stick to working out with Danica Patrick and throwing footballs, and let the personnel moves to the experts in their field...

I can understand wanting input. I think that's only natural for a competitor like Rodgers but in the end any input will still be disregarded on any decisions made for the good of the team and players need to understand that.
The commonly accepted formula is; Owners - own, GMs - operate, Coaches - coach, Players - play, and it's not gonna change no matter how crabby a star QB gets. Tom Brady should be able to advise on that as well.

How did you like the draft?
Caution: What you are about to read is written by a football fan who's team is the "worst in the League" in February and "Super Bowl bound" in May (grain of salt:)
RE the Packers off season: I was hoping the spotlight wouldn't be too bright for our new GM... I am extremely pleased with this off season for the first time I can remember. We got a possible stud pass rushing DL and a great red zone TE in FA. The only thing that worries me is the right side of the offensive line and pass rushing linebacker. But he couldn't fix it all this off season. The Draft: I wanted them to trade up to take Edmonds or James. Was VERY confused when they moved down to 27, but was then understanding when I found out we got next years first rounder from NO as well. A few minutes later, they ended up trading back up to 17 to get the shut down corner they coveted at 14 and it only costed a third. So in essence they gave up a first and a third for two firsts (and the same player they apparently wanted). Incredible...
They got Jackson in the second round who many thought they might take in the first. Great pick on a nice football player. Secondary is much better off and hopefully between the new DC and the new players, WR's won't be running wide open all over the place.
The other problem we had last year was struggling to cover the TE or RB's out of the backfield. There wasn't a screen pass that wasn't effective against Dom Capers group. They got one of the most athletic LBers in the draft in the third round who could be the answer in coverage. They have an Olineman that seems to have some upside. They got a long snapper that will hopefully solve that problem and a punter who hits it to the moon and back.
Lastly, they needed youth and speed at WR. They got that with three big, fast, targets on day three that many expected would be picked earlier.
The whole season right now depends on that right side of the offensive line... Week one is a good week to play us...
