Jordan Howard removes Bears pictures from his Instagram account By: Lorin Cox | 17 minutes ago
Jordan Howard added a little bit of fuel to his own trade rumors this week after apparently removing every Chicago Bears related picture from his Instagram account.
His most recent post on the account is now back from November 2, his 23rd birthday.
Rumors circulated earlier this offseason that the Bears could be looking to trade Howard this offseason, supposedly because he isn’t the right fit in Matt Nagy’s offense.
The change in his Instagram account has Bears fans on high alert to find out what’s going on with the 1,000-yard rusher.
There's been nothing on this at all since the rumor of the Landry trade and I expect that's all that was.....a rumor.
But with the draft rolling up could Pace be shopping him for a pick he might use to make a trade with? There are a shit load of RBs in this draft that are seen as better receivers but I can't honestly believe Pace would trade a near perfect back for our zone blocking scheme unless he has his eye on someone even better.
If it happened it would be a total surprise to me.
I have yet to hear anyone clarify if running backs are subject to this rule. So many backs “lower their head” and push through a hole or to hit a defensive player once past the line of scrimmage. Will that be a penalty on the offensive player? —Justin P.
Yes. Running backs can no longer duck their heads and use the helmet as a battering ram.

I agree with this. I believe Miami asked about Howard and Pace turned him down. But if Pace believes he can get a back with receiving skills in round 4, moving Howard seems like something he would do.
Well, I guess Nagy doesn't think that Howard would fit in his scheme.
Well that's the rumor but with a capital R. Howards receiving leaves something to be desired but that's fixable.
However, if Pace does plan to trade him his value is probably as high as it will ever get. Of course to counter that is this is a deep draft for RBs so could we get as much as a 2nd round pick for him?
Chicago Bears: Why did Jordan Howard delete all Bears photos on Instagram? by Ryan Heckman49 minutes agoFollow @ryanmheckman
Chicago Bears running back Jordan Howard has been subject to a lot of trade rumors. Does his recent Instagram activity finally signal the end? This offseason could not have gone any better thus far for the Chicago Bears. Several great signings have been made to go along with a few smart cuts, and to top it off the Bears still have one of the best running backs in all of football: Jordan Howard.
At least, for now.
If you have followed us for at least the last couple of months, you know that we have seen our fair share of trade rumors involving Howard. Up until now they have just been rumors. However, today we saw something alarming.
For some reason, Howard has taken all of his Bears-related photos down from his Instagram account. If you go and see for yourself, you will not find one photo of him that has anything to do with his current team.
if you’d rather not go look, here’s your proof. Howard once had a few more than these select photos on his account.

This reminds me of one of those bad breakups. You know, the kind where you remove everything in your life that has to do with that person immediately after it ends? Yeah, that kind.
What does this mean? Did Ryan Pace really pull the trigger? Does Matt Nagy truly believe Howard doesn’t fit his offense?
If that is the case, we are going to see a lot of fans in an uproar — myself included. Howard is one of the best and most underrated players in the entire league. Disregard the running back position.

More changes like this may be on their way, including the elimination of kickoffs, the three-point stance or even line play altogether. As I wrote last June, the ultimate result of these issues could be the NFL becoming a professional seven-on-seven league.
Sounds ludicrous, but y'know... it been going in that direction for awhile now. I guess we're all to blame; are we willing to watch the game the way our grandfathers played it or is us that sit at home and cringe every time a solid lick is laid out on our TV screens?
Remember that one time, when elite teams fielded an offense led by a smart QB and a featured back along with a stout defense and won championships?
Now it's all about scoring. Even this article cites how the NFL is pressured by gambling.
You can also include "Fantasy Football."
But guys like me are dinosaurs who need to "live in the now" and recognize... those divas at wide-out, overpriced cornerbacks and 'rookie QBs who have input on coaching hires' is where the NFL lives today.
And the game is so much better for it (sarcasm).
JHoward taking down all his Bear memorabilia from his social media accounts... is just a guy feeling betrayed...
...by his stone hands. I'm not saying The Bears or Pace are being callous. Nah. C'mon, it's all good. He'll find a new home where they still value a lead back.
My suggestion is we all sit back and watch for now.
Nagy just had his first meeting with the team and maybe something was said that left Howard feeling less than appreciated. I have my doubts they've told him they plan to trade him. Such things are not usually discussed in advance.
IMHO Pace may have trouble getting fair value for him with so many backs ranked as highly as there are this year. If he does it'll be because Howard is dirt cheap for the next two years and a proven Pro Bowl RB.
