The answer is.......wait for it, wait for it, wait for it......."We have 14 more games left".
All that tells us it they don't intend to forfeit any of them or at least not yet. Other than that?
They have no answers. None at all just coachspeak mumbo jumbo and "we gotta do better".
Wow, doesn't that instill a lot of confidence in us all after being told last week "we're close". What would this game have looked like if we were'nt "just about there".
Wait 'til we find out tomorrow that Cutler's thumb is trashed and he may need surgery or some other piece of good news and Hoyer will be in charge for more than just a game or two. The way things have been going I can almost predict that.
Here's my take. I actually don't think Hoyer is a horrible QB and Jay has never been as bad as some believe he is so what does that say about this offense? Considering it was supposed to be more of the same that we had with Gase it sure looks to me now like we'd have been better off just leaving Loggains as a QB coach and actually hiring an OC who was at least on the same level as Fangio.
He's managed to field a pretty decent defense with what would seem to be less talent that the offense has. The only real offense Loggains has been able to muster so far came on the end of two very long Cutler to AJ passes. The rest is nothing more than a series of either bad play calls or mistakes occasionally interrupted by a play that gains meaningless yardage.
The Peter Principle strikes again and it's name is Dowell Loggains.
14 more games to lose to finally draft our QB. Can't wait...
Depending on who's playing on the Cowboys I might choose to skip that game. We ain't going to have any pressure on that Cowboys O-line while Loggains can't seem to make simple adjustments...
I agree there was some of the usual mumbo jumbo - but he actually looked genuinely perturbed and admitted that they need to play much better fb ... so at least there was less obfuscation coming out of his pie hole . The rest of the players interviewed were in bad moods , and that's actually a good sign . I doubt it's gonna be a routine week of practice up at Halas Hall . I bet it's gonna be all serious business with people getting their asses handed to them .
I agree but only looking at how well guys throw . Alot of these college QB's make names for themselves with their feet . That kind of thing isn't effective at the pro level . Show me a guy who runs the ball well in college and I'll show you a guy who won't last long in the pros . So ... find the best passer with scrambling ability imo .

Soul Hoyer is baaaad.
And maybe Cutty isnt as bad as some think, he is also not as good as some think also.

Dak is showing why its so hard to judge bc his neg was he was a run first qb, and bc he dedicated himself before the draf and in the offseason to learning the pro style he is now not looking to run first and shows great poise in the pocket and accuracy. Maybe he wont be the long term answer, to early to tell but he shows that what they do in college really doesnt mean as much as the dedication to get better. Need the skills, but the humility and work ethic also needs to be there
The Eagles are not very good. Whst does that tell you about us. Cleveland Browns level team. -is it to soon to fire Loggins? -there has to be a better way for this Oline. -long season ahead. I just don't see any one thing that can fix this. Fack I hate being perennially bad.
