.... I've given the guy the benefit of the doubt because of all the OC changes and the sub-par O-lines , but the fact that he STILL makes the kinds of mistakes he's been making his whole career has finally convinced me that he isn't a good QB - and he'll never become one .
- the front office better begin planning for a new starting QB for next season and beyond .
Should have drafted a potential replacement a few years ago...and there was zero reason not to use a 4th on dak this year to look at and develop.
And it bothers me a lot that pace sais there were no qbs worth taking. Bc there were...just need to coach up and develop over 1 2 3 years.
And a good chunk of this blame goes on fox he doesnt care about offense and he is not a good game day coach.
It should be cutlers last year but as long as pace keeps passing on qbs they wont have a choice but to start him and it will continue to stunt the offense

So, you think Emery should have drafted his replacement?
And for everyone hanging on Prescott, he was one scratch off lottery ticket out of a bunch.
Coaching up and developing a mid to low round QB usually results in a Charlie Whitehurst caliber of player, and that is considered a success. You need a stable system, which the Bears do not have, and good coaching, which the Bears have lacked outside of Gase for a year.
I'll bet it's not. If his hand was that bad he should have removed himself from the game. He was practically the entire offense again in the first half and had a 112.7 QBR and 8/11 passing then once again the other guys adjust and we don't. He throws downfield we score. But where was that after the one long pass to AJ even though all week long all we read about was how vulnerable the Eagles secondary was to the deep ball.
I'll leave it to someone else to try and figure what's going on inside Fox and Loggains head because I sure the **** don't know.
I won't defend Jay's turnovers but I also won't defend his pass protection that contributes to them. The next person who tries to defend Bobby Massie should probably just STFU because this week NOBODY is gonna buy it. The guy is just plain Frank Omygod awful and if it was Kyle Long who sponsored him well then he should have his ass kicked too. His good buddy has let this team down big time.
To be honest with you if I was Cutler I'd just ****'n retire and say the hell with it. Just turn it over to Hoyer and say buh bye. Why bother to get the crap beat out of himself every week and care about trying to win when so many other must not. He has more than enough to live on very comfortably forever and a family who does appreciate him. I sure as hell would do just that if I was him then Chicago will be happy again or at least until we get a new QB to hate on.

If you are trying to build a strong off you find a young qb in the 1st 3 rounds, no later then 4. Now it falls on pace to find his replacement.
Dak isnt your normal 4th rd qb a lot more talent to work with.

They better use their 1st rd pick - and it better be the rt guy , they better do their homework and hit on it . Give Gruden $100,000 as a consultant to help them pick the right guy . Do whatever you have to do to get it right .
