With those kinds of results , they'd have better luck throwing darts at a dartboard blindfolded ( and no I'm not joking ) . Seriously - put the names of the top rated players on a pie chart and throw a dart when it's ur turn to pick and then have the cojones to pick the name it lands on .
It's so ridiculous. This franchise just can't draft worth a shit.
Their first round picks are pretty bad but Pace has been pretty good with his second round picks and mid round picks.
Goldman and Whitehair looking like they deserve to be here.
I agree with you. My complaint is: if you can find talent there, why do you suck at finding it way earlier?
We have had 2 top-11 picks so far by Pace. Is it too much to ask for your GM to get two just solid starters out of that? Frankly, that high up you should be drafting above-average-starters at worst in the absence of a career ending injury or major off field character blowup.

The offense never gets going. As a result the defense has to stay on the field. This results in the opponent getting better Time of Possession and as the game goes on, and the defense tires, more points.

We we could have had Gurley-Tunsil for instance.
Gurley was concern about injury but I'm still upset that we went for a WR at #7. When we had so many problems else where. Its like Pace was trying to justify getting rid of Marshall. Will Fuller has already had two back to back 100+ yard games while White still isn't close to ready. White is looking like a bust.
Floyd on the other hand can't get consistent pressure. Dude is way undersized for what they want out of him. Tunsil was there and we should of taken him. We could of put him at Tackle and still drafted Whitehair. We could of had a very solid O-line coming into this year.
I just hope with our upcoming top 3 pick Pace is a bit smart with how he drafts.

Yeah....and then he'll take the 2nd QB or....he'll take another pass rusher and not take a QB until the third because...the board was falling a certain way.
