I'm hoping we see improvement for these 4 players, and I think we very well could see improvement for all of them in this game. I don't expect them to magically become great but I do think we could see improvement - even with Massie. I just want to see the overall team take a step improving. I'm not even asking for a win. Just look better game to game this year. And I want to see the individual young players- who will be the core unit of the future teams - improving game to game too.
I'm still hoping Leno can be a decent LT for us for the long-term.
Anyone could see that Leno was not dominant, but I thought he played better than he graded out. Maybe I need new glasses.
Leno struggled almost as badly as Massie. He got abused by Clowney all game and when they shifted Mercilus over to his side, he struggled there too. Interestingly, no matter who Sitton matched up with he was able to lock them down. I know Leno has to protect the edge which leaves more space for movement, but, in a traditional sense, Leno should be able to handle Clowney the speed freak better than Sitton and it's discouraging that he cannot.
