I still have hope that Pace can turn the team around. I haven't given up on him yet. But I can't say it enough - I do expect the team to look a lot better next season. Real, tangible improvement. After 4 years I will no longer be feeling good about how "close" our games are, or how individual players may be looking decent. At some point it all has to translate into wins.
That has as much to do with coaching as it does the GM. Hopefully he gets to pick his own guy this time.
I don't for sure...but theres been enough written about it to make it a high probability.
That and Pace was hired on Jan 8(or right around there) and Fox was hired on the 16th(or right around there). You really think the new GM got all up in there and got to interview the guys he was interested in and hire HIS NC 8 days or so into his job?
