My name is Vladimir and I m a Bears fan from Europe (Serbia). I have never been in the USA, but my love for Chicago, as a city, started during my childhood. The biggest "culprits" for that were the Bulls in the 90s Also I watched a lot of documentaries and shows about the city, so I love Chi in general I know there are a lot of Serbian immigrants in Chicago, but unfortunately I have no relatives there, so this forum will be my best (and only for now) way for connection with the team that I love and other Bears fans.
Maybe I am physically far away, but I stand with you and send my love for the team, city and all the people there and anywhere in the world where the heart beats for Bears!

This board was set up in response to another set of forums. Most (if not all) of us are refugees from other boards. We respect each other's opinions and basically live and let live. Hi Vladimir, welcome to our messageboard. We appreciate you being here. Those old Bulls teams of the 1990's were so amazing. I'm now pretty excited about the Bears because I do think the team is (finally) on the right track and is building a championship team. It may take another couple years to complete the team building, but I do believe it will happen.
We do have people on this board from all over the world... it's not a big board but a good one. Our owner of this board is AlexM - originally from Croatia. I know that for a time he was in Italy...

Welcome to our messageboard, and know that we do appreciate you being here. One thing we enjoy here is that during games we have a "live" discussion going on in the Shoutbox at the bottom of the web page here. It is really fun experiencing this live with fellow fans. Our board is small enough that we can easily accommodate this (everyone can get their comments in as the game unfolds).
A number of us here are refugees from the original CBMB (the official Chicago Bears Message Board) before it folded. Alex, the owner of this board, wanted to provide a place where mature people could discuss things on line without trolls and flame wars. We really have been successful doing that. It's kind of like that old TV show "Cheers" with the neighborhood bar with the "regulars" coming in and sharing stuff. Anyway, thanks for joining us here. We really appreciate it.
