Windy City would boost Quality to this site, I doubt we get him here to write and he wasn't on DBS for 2-3 years now
HHM was talking about being good pals with Windy a few days ago I am sure of it. Maybe it was a different 1 but he was trying to validate his ability to stay current with Bear news as well as his sources? don't quote me on that thou...I have no sources LOL

He was kicked out of here cos he has trying to pass Windy's writing as his, riczaj01 asked him, but...
This is all pretty simple. We have what we have on this site for a reason that's well known to all of us. Some will find that it's a perfect fit, others won't, and some will enjoy posting on several different sites as I have over the years. No one will ever be told they aren't permitted to do that and personally I don't know why any other forum would either. It makes no sense.
The only real exclusivity here is our right not to have a football forum trampled by obvious trolling simply to bait others and personal attacks by those who may have a different point of view about something. Other than that and religion or politics just about anything goes. Those two are taboo because they're intensely personal and not at all related to our main content which is Bears and NFL football. We may gradually add to that but for now it is what it is.
When we come here to post we should be among friends who share a similar interest in the Bears and other NFL related issues. As long as that type of atmosphere exists we're good. This isn't kumbiya time where we all need to agree and give one another hugs. It's a forum for expressing opinions and laying out some facts we can discuss and debate around. That's it.......finite', and it's encouraged within the bounds of common sense not discouraged.
We may have 20 or 30 active members or we may have 50 or 100 and it really doesn't matter as long as we have those that keep a forum like this focused on football and balanced in content. I'd like to keep this a place where members look forward to coming to each day and not one where we have to have an ignore button and list of those we do ignore just so we can read and post without having to wade through a ton of trash to become informed or respond.

Excellently said. Should almost be written somewhere like our personal mantra. These are the words to be followed by all......

I just realized when I read your post (the ninth or tenth quatrain I think) that we have no ignore button. Never realized it. Never missed it or went looking for it. I had several people on ignore on the old board.
