JJ played for the peckers. But in his defense, he hates that team and I think the city also. I don't know who he is, but he's a good guy, just doesn't like to take nothing from anybody.

Actually JJ spent most if his career here in Denver playing for the Broncos from 1977-80. He was a big fast RB and wore #30 ergo his JJ30 posting name. He finished his career in 81-82 with the Porkers but he was from Iowa, grew up a Bears fan, and pretty much hated the Pack.

He was living in Loveland, CO awhile back and he and I used to PM one another often. I've heard that he may have some issues with his health and I did PM him once or twice but I haven't heard back from him so I can't confirm that or if he still lives in Loveland. I just don't know.

JJ really never wanted to it to be commonly known that we was a former pro RB, and a pretty good one, and once asked me not to let on to that in the forums but eventually it became somewhat unavoidable and most knew that he was a former pro but not much of the details.

I'll reach out to him and see if he responds. If he would consider joining us I believe he'd be a real asset to the football forum. I'll report back if and when I have any news from him.

I believe he has ALS. He has mentioned it a few times and was getting really bent out of shape recently with the brat pack. It would not surprise me if he got banned for a few days for lashing out at them. BTW I found a bit of info on him. Very cool awesome really...

Soul's info is spot on and accurate about JJ. If you connect the dots you can find him on pro-football-reference.com. He had a decent career and played about the time Sweetness came up. Out of respect for him I won't post any other info.

Ya it did not take long to found out a bit of his history. That is what I meant by cool and awesome above. And he even told a few of the pack that back in the day you played for who you were drafted by. No player could choose where to go and it was an honor just to play the game, you did not question the coaches.

Some of the avatars you guys are using are interesting, but they're too small. We need to see bigger sizes. Magnifying glasses don't work, I need my hands for other things...
