Better than I expected! I figured it'd be a clean sweep with everyone picking the Texans.
I did too. I think we could have an upset on Sunday... you never know what's going to happen in the 1st game of the season. Crazy things happen sometimes.

Geez, 9:1 against us. Ya' gotta love being the underdog on the road.
+1 Until Pace and Fox can start winning in Chicago "the brand" is pretty damaged right now. We're really floating in the NfL toilet with teams like the Browns right now - in the minds of the NFL nation. We've looked like a steaming pile of crap against the better teams and often on prime time - for years now. The only way to rebuild the Chicago Bears brand again is to win something. Until then, we shouldn't expect any respect. We don't deserve it.
EDIT: Sorry. I know that sounds harsh, but I believe it is true.

It wasn't harsh. IMO it was objective and honest. Also very true.

Agreed. The Texans were a bottom feeder team for a long time and they've slowly been putting the right pieces in place. They get 9 votes right now because on paper they are the better team.
I think the Bears matchup poorly with the Texans. That doesn't mean we can't win just that most people would pick Houston at this stage of the season.

Hard to argue with at least some of that yet I still feel right now that the team is under rated by many who simply don't follow them as closely as we do and simply write out of habit.
