Best signing we've had in a while. I love the aggression at saying "we had a young guy we liked at center, but he went down and that changed the entire complexion of what we wanted to do at LG, but this move addresses that."

Exactly. I'm amazed there are people finding a way to complain about this.

Yeah. Why is that? Do we as Bears fans simply need something to not be happy about? Has it come to that?
A week and half ago we were all down in the dumps because we lacked even a decent starting five to begin the season with. Depth? Faggedaboudit! We figured we'd be lucky if we got four healthy ones who could start out of the bunch and the fifth would need prayers and maybe a divine intercession to hold up for 60 minutes.
Ten days later we're fretting about what to do with Grasu when he returns next year and all of a sudden we have too many OL and Sitton might stunt their growth. When's the last time we finished a 16 game season with the same 5 starters we began it with? They only guys I can recall who never got hurt that I hoped would were guys like Webb and OMG.
If somehow the SF 49'ers of days of yore managed life with both Joe Montana and Steve Young on their roster at the same time I think we can figure out what to do with Grasu and Whitehair.

+1,000 Sometimes I think it's a "Bears thing" that we question everything like we do. We're always waiting for the 2nd shoe to drop.
