But he's willing to go to the Bills; who have just as many questions, and a known at best average commodity at QB; who isn't even guaranteed the starting job?
It looks like Maclin is scheduled to meet with the Ravens after Buffalo
My guess is there will be other teams as well. I have no idea if Pace is interested in Maclin or not. But if he really has something left in the tank, I'd love for the Bears to talk to him.
I'd love to see them attempt it, but I don't know if they will. They already have a full WR roster many filled w/FA's this year.

I'd kick the tires if I thought he was an upgrade over what we have now.
But he is 29 and does have some injury history. Maybe he isn't worth the risk. Here is a summary on Maclin's injuries over his career from the SBNation Buffalo Bills site.

Actually, I was under the impression that he had been injured more often than this report shows. It looks like Alshon was more injury prone than Maclin.

And Maclin seems to be a real trooper when it comes to playing with a few dings and bruises.
Unless we throw some serious money at him I doubt that he will consider the Bears. We have a big unknown as far as QB goes and I don't think he's going to be swayed by how much "potential" they have.

Well the Bills I imagine would need to offer quite a bit as well given their QB questions and now that Maclin appears to have left without a contract I guess it wasn't enough.
