Im pretty sure these are last year grades, or am I wrong?
It should be this years players/last years grades. Why would you grade Porter/Cutler etc still on this team and transfer it to this year?
Then again it's PFF so anythings possible w/that group. Even if that were the case, why wouldn't you grade that rookie instead of giving them a base grade of a rookie?
"As we move into the OTA and mini-camp season, let’s take an early look at the starting rosters among NFC North teams, which could still see a few changes as position battles in training camp play out, and yet are pretty well established overall.
Overall Pro Football Focus (PFF) Grades Below is a comparison of PFF grades by position for every team in the NFC North. This is for nickel/3WR situations, which these days account for more snaps than base units. For each team there could be a few differences from what some are projecting, but for the most part these are not big differences. For example, perhaps a rookie will start instead of a below average or worse veteran after training camp battles have been completed.
Also, I used the PFF average rating of 70 for rookies, instead of no grade as is normally done, to get a better comparison of across the board among the four teams."

Definitely not using last years roster.
Based on that, it does sound like this years roster. But we still have Fox, so dead last again is not without possibility

Thats what I was thinking too... Still, who is that rookie CB??

No idea, unless they think Jackson is playing CB; which I don't think is a possibility. I think they just muff'd it, which PFF is apt to do.

The schedule is brutal, and ya Fox isn't the best HC, but he's not a 3 win coach either, neither if Fang.
Sounds like the Bears O isn't as crisp as the Bears def; which really shouldn't be a big surprise, the DB's had a big turnover(in a good way) but the rest of that def outside of Jaye Howard are all the same.
The O on the other hand, new qb's, new targets(other then meredith/milller). Hopefully they can get the O up to speed quickly, but no doubt timing is going to be off for a good part of the offseason, and maybe even a few games into the reg season.
Good to hear Houston/McPhee are both healthy and playing well also.
