From reading over at WCG and Sports Mockery it sounds like EHall is gone for good. Consensus seems to be that he was hurt too much and simply wasn't very good when he wasnt hurt and able to practice.
heard someone say that it shows just how deep that group is right now.
Without question.
Just a few years ago, this guy would have made the team even as a rookie UDFA.
Remember Bellamy, Mariani, and Meredith? That was our top-3 just a few seasons ago.

Numbers crunch at receiver...lots of talent there. Can't make the club in the tub.

Having an unfavorable view of the preseason, Bears coach Matt Nagy wanted to try something different Wednesday night at Halas Hall.
“We just played a full game,” Nagy said.
OK, it wasn’t a real game. It was all controlled. The starting offense and defense each got 60 plays.
But it still was unique. The beauty was in the details. Nagy’s game included the same intro music from Soldier Field and the air-raid siren for the defense.
“Yeah, I love that thing,” Nagy said.
Consider that a message that Nagy won’t be playing his starters much over the rest of the preseason, which continues Friday night against the Giants in New Jersey. The mock game served many purposes. It included scripted plays and plenty of situational work, including for special teams. Two punts were downed inside the 5-yard line.
“They got 60 plays, and on top of that, we got every special-teams situation,” Nagy said. “You can’t mock that in a preseason game. Nothing to take away from that, but we took a lot of time and hours to script. Every play was scripted. It wasn’t like we just called them off the head. We scripted every scenario. I think that’s what was so cool about it.”
It provided more for Nagy and his staff to digest than a typical practice.
I wonder what provoked him? I've always thought he was a team player. I could see him going off on an opponent, but not a teammate.
Then he's too easily too provoked, 2 fights in 2/3 days, 2 different teammates... cmon
I agree. It just doesn't make any sense, so I'm wondering if it will come out as to what the heck he was so angry about. This is just a rookie trying to make the team. What does Long prove by trying to hurt the guy by beating him with a helmet? The D is a pretty tight unit this year... I could see Mack, Hicks, Goldman and the boys, taking Long aside and telling him to knock this crap off - or he'll find himself in a body bag.
