I do believe the Bears will get it right this season. This is one of the few problems that has dogged Ryan Pace since he took over as GM. Pace is a bright guy. The problem will get fixed... how I don't know, but it will get max attention from the GM, coaches, scouts - whatever it takes to get fixed. Due to the mental attribute being so dominate in kickers (and franchise QBs for that matter) it just makes it extra-tough to get a rock solid kicker. I do believe that next to the QB position, it is the next toughest position to fill. What is so frustrating is the fact that these two positions make or break games - which can make or break seasons. Even Super Bowls have been won or lost on the kicker's performance good or bad.
Last season my heart about stopped over extra points getting made. I felt just as anxious as if it was a 50+ yard field goal. I think Bears fans were sweating bullets every time they saw the Bears march out the kicker for a kick. How sad is that? I am so tired of recent years watching kickers crap the bed here. LOL, I think Bears Nation will riot if they watch this year's kicker blowing kicks again.

Pace knows this. He will get it fixed.
I'm not worried yet but I will become so if no one clearly nails down the job in August. I think it will happen so I'm still optimistic.
Be interesting to see how Nagy handles it if he doesn't have "full confidence" in his kicker. We could be going for it on 4th and/or going for 2 after TD a lot.
I’m not a fan of guys who struggle at 50 yards in practice. It’s okay to miss some left and right, but missing because you are coming up short (as well) sucks.

You'd think they hit a 60-yarder. LOL. But at least they each hit a 45 yard FG. That's a start. And regarding the team having to run punishment laps after FG misses, I'd rather see them make Ryan Pace and the scouting department scouts run laps every time one of these "kickers" miss a 40-45 yard kick. LOL.

think the idea was to put real pressure on them. 90 or so guys pissed at you is a lot of pressure
