anyone know anything about this Marvin Hall dude? looks like some ST's and very little else on O. Has Lynch signed w/anyone? Hoping Fangio brings him to Den to help w/the comp picks; although I wouldn't hate if he stayed.

well we need an OLB help bad
I think that will depend on how a couple of the young guys from last year have developed, Fitts and Irving. Both showed some nice flashes.
I was a fan of Shaquil Barrett before the Broncos placed a second round restricted FA tender on him last year. Now he just signed a one-year contract worth $4MM w/ Tampa. That was a totally affordable price.

All I know about Hall is that he is a speedy WR who's mainly a ST gunner. IOW, a Bellamy replacement who's younger and cheaper.
I've read that as of now (post-Callahan) we are likely to pick up a 4th round comp pick for 2020. No, Lynch hasn't signed with anyone yet. Supposedly Daniel Brown has interest from multiple teams. Witzmann might get some too (both as deep backups of course). We could theoretically get as many as 3 comp picks. I'd be happy with 2 and be content with just 1.
Lynch is going to end up being a mid-tier, depth-type signing probably sometime in the next few weeks before the draft. If he goes to Denver to stay with Fang as expected, that will virtually ensure the Bears will nail down multiple 2020 comp picks, which is a good thing. YES, PLEASE
The Bears have to find a 3rd edge-rusher OLB. That means either retaining Lynch, or if he leaves, signing Justin Houston or Nick Perry, neither of whom would impact the comp pick formula since both of them were released by their previous teams and aren't true UFAs. Houston is my preferred and I assume Pace is just biding time right now waiting for prices to come down.
