PFF over and undervalues everything. They are the hot take of advanced metrics; sloppy, emotional and poorly done.
I am rooting for NFL NexGen to overtake PFF in the advanced stats category. PFF is dreadful with ranking OL, especially interior lineman, and numerous other positions. PFF shows no effort to improve their chaotic rankings and seem perfectly content that NBC highlights their stupid numbers on SNF.
there pass rusher stats and rankings are equally bad. I officially gave up on pff when I read that they do not adjust for scheme and don't care about scheme. in their opinion all DEs and olbs and OTs and OGs do the same job. that is willfully ignorance and laziness at its finest.
I posted this in the other thread but it probably belongs here too. The ideal situation tomorrow, would be to have the Rams lose against the 49ers (I know, a long shot upset) and the Bears to win against the Vikes. The Rams would have to come to Soldier Field to play us in January. That would be huge.
This game is impossible to call. Everything I'm hearing is the Bears are going to bring it; in the 1/2 half and then scoreboard watch to see what is going on w/the Rams. If the Rams solidily in control then they'll sit guys in the 2nd.

Gurly's out and that LA def is got a lot of pretty names but no actual play. SF played the Bears tough, they could well do the same to the Rams if that O struggles again.

Great win by your team. I think the Bears are the team to beat in the NFC.
To be honest, I don't see the Eagles beating the Bears in Chicago. Not saying we can't lose that game, just that I see our defense shutting down the Eagles offense more effectively than the Eagles defense shutting down our offense.
But the next round will either be at LA or at NO. Either will be a tough game.
