The Bears played well even with him out. Shows the depth they have so I'm not worried a bit. Let him heal up and come back when he's ready.
he was out for like 3 mins
But it was a LONG 3 minutes ! I guess my thought was that the secondary played excellent coverage no matter who was in there. Even when Rogers had time he couldn't find anyone open. Coverage sacks and NO TD's from him. I'm impressed.
This injury and Jackson's recovery time may give us an opportunity to evaluate Deon Bush in his place.
Bush is more of a "hitter" and probably more oriented to playing SS but he has similar speed and range. Just not the same savvy and instincts. But if resting Jackson for a game is what it takes to get him 100% healthy I have a feeling that much like they've done with others that's what they'll do.
Amos and Callahan are both coming out of contract so it is important to see just how prepared a three year vet like Bush is to taking on a starting role. As much as I hate losing both Jackson and Callahan we need them back for the playoffs but it appears only Jackson will make it.
