Just re-watched the game on Game Pass. Looked like Jackson twisted his ankle foot outward, the usual mechanism of a high ankle sprain. Those are generally longer-term recoveries (~ 4-6 weeks) so I'm hoping its a mild one since he wasn't forcibly tackled that way and instead kinda just fell awkwardly.
But no matter what, sheesh, is it that hard to slide down without hurting yourself?

Imo even a simple lower ankle sprain could make I'm questionable for a first round playoff game.

I hope we see a real jump in the play of Deon Bush just like we did with McManis. As long as we can get past them for the final 2 games of the season, there is hope we can win even a playoff game or two.
Man can you believe it? Bear fans talking about how many playoff games they might win!!!
was listening to 670 this AM, and they mentioned Jackson and Lynch but I wasn't paying close attention, but they made it sound like neither injury will be season ending. Bears overall health has been crazy good and it's long deserving.

+1,000 And have you heard the national sports media lately, just gushing about the Bears team and our players? It's not just Khalil Mack they talk about now. I feel like I am in an alternative universe now. The Bears are not only relevant again, they are exciting and getting a national buzz - instead of just crapping the bed on prime-time TV they are stunning people like in that Rams game. I love it.
ps. We survived the Trestman & John Fox era. It was the most horrible times in my own history as a fan. By the end of last year I had lost all hope in the franchise.
