Other than once again agree with Robert Z; "I don’t prescribe to this mentality of “you have to get an offensive or defensive guy!” Just get me a head coach who can lead men and who knows the modern game."
It would be much easier to list a few I don't want starting with Josh McDaniels and then adding Fisher and Payton as well.
Of those who might fit I'd say Dave Toub, Matt Patricia, and Pete Carmichael may be on our short list but I really have no clue who Ryan Pace might be thinking off. His inexperience makes him a tough read.

If they decide to let Fox go in the middle of the season, I hope they make either Fangio or Loggains the interim HC. Pick the guy who might actually be HC candidate material at the end of the season.
But when Fox goes I bet we can kiss both Fangio and Loggains goodbye. What kind of HC would come in and keep a significant amount of someone else's staff? He would want to bring his own people in just to shake up the culture.

If it's Fangio, they may keep him. The Log will get flushed IMO

Who would be Fangio's OC? A young guy that could be around a few years or a good OC that failed as a head coach and wants to OC again(Norv Turner, McDaniels)

I was thinking he would move Donatell up. Not sure if that is good or bad, but I assume that if he becomes HC then Donatell is DC
I rather have a HC who can grow with Trubs and hopefully be a permanent coach for years to come.
As opposed to a guy who maybe doesn't need to grow and can get the most out of Trubs right away? I get everyone wants a young guy...but just because they are young does not mean they will be a good HC or that they will "grow" to be a good HC. I want a guy who is going to be the best and I don't care if he's 60 or if he's 30. That should be the only criteria.

The voice of reason. What the hell are you doing on here anyway?
