Hard to see anything when the better players are always hurt.
Meredith, better, hurt Freeman, better, drug suspension/hurt Danny T, better, hurt Goldman, better, hurt Howard, better, hurt Long, WOW better, hurt Sitton, WOW better, hurt McPhee, better, hurt, Kevin White, expected to be better, never not hurt
See a trend? Whether it's FA moves, high draft picks, mid draft picks, late/UDFA everyone that shows any type of talent ends up hurt. And you end up w/guys that should rarely if ever see the field. No one builds from the back of the roster up, if you cannot get your starters right, then you can never get the depth right.
I agree, that just like the other 31 teams in the NFL we have injured players every year. Injuries are a fact of life for every team in the NFL now. But other teams do win games. Heck, Miami lost its #1 QB before the season even BEGAN this year. But they signed Cutler and won anyway. I'm not talking about winning a super bowl... but just winning a reasonable amount of games. I vividly remember Green Bay's last Super Bowl winning season when they were the team with the most missed games by starters that year.
They won the Super Bowl that year anyway.
Look around the league THIS year. Everyone has been hurt by having multiple key players go down to injury - even before the season began for some teams.
Injuries are ALWAYS going to be a problem. Do we just trot out that excuse every year now? Or are we just a crappy team like the Browns and Jets?

JABF, they do have injuries, but it's not normally to confined to 2 or 3 positions where all depth is lost. Ya they could lose your starting qb and starting DL, and OG, and ILB and S, and that's hard to recover from. But not every team suffers a complete loss of it's OG's and ILB's and WR's; that's not normal. And it's becoming a reoccuring issue for the Bears.

I'm sure the Jets and Browns have "reasons" too. I am getting tired of being a crap NFL team year after year after year after year. I used to enjoy watching the Bears win games. I am getting weary of the losing. Year after year after year. I am at the point I really don't care anymore as to the "why" of it all. I just want to win. LOL, shoot me for hating us being a loser franchise.

Thats fine... BUT the problem is that we signed Danny T - injury prone, Sitton - age/injuries, MPhee - injury prone... Didnt get a quality wr, although White is highly injury prone... Sure, we got the first mentioned guys for 'deals', but those were deals cos they were - injury prone. And we're sitting on a pile of money... WTF!?

Jets and Browns problems haven't been injuries though, it's been a series of shitty qb's year after year.
If any team can overcome injuries, show me similar injuries to GB/NE/Pitt(the most consistent winning teams over the last 5-10 years) where they lost their entire interior OL + depth, + WRs + Depth + any defensive position + depth.
If it's just this common in the nfl it shouldn't be hard to find on these teams that keep winning.
Look at the winning teams they all have something in commoon:
Teir 1 qb(ie franchise potential Hof QB) consistency at HC/GM coordinators move constently, but hc/gm tend to be there for long times And they have years of draft/Fa to help set consistency on the team. There isn't huge turnover on the roster, the core players know what to do, and the young players learn quickly by watching and learning from them.
Bears/Browns/Jets have no franchise qb, no consistency at GM/HC which creates way to much turnover which creates no consistency. THey will continue to be bad until all of that is corrected. hopefully GM/QB are at least corrected thats the start, but it doesn't mean GM+HC+QB equate to winning year 1.
I'm not happy w/where the bears are; nor should anyone be, but there are legit reasons that this has happeend; and it's not just your standard "injuries happen to all teams". I mean seriously whens the last time NE/GB/Pitt/NY/SD/NO's found themselves on their 4th qb by mid year? thats not "injuries happen to everyone". That's absurdly poor luck and something far bigger is happening to specific skill positions.

Danny T had 1 year where he suffered an injury and lost significant time in the first 4 years in Den(16 his first 2 years and 15 his fourth year); that's not injury prone. Sitton was signed b/c of injuries, he shouldn't even be here the fact that he is still here and relied on as a starter is a problem. McPHee 1 in four years where he lost significant time b/c of injuries that's also not injury prone; 3 years he played 16 games; including his 4th year(although rumors in balt said he could never be a fulltime starter b/c of his knees) White wasn't injury prone in college.

Sure, but if im not mistaken those were their LAST seasons with former clubs. Also, wasnt talking about White being injury prone in college, but here, I think we knew that before the start of this season
