I would fire him today and promote Fangio. But the Bears will wait till the end of the season. They're all one big happy family and firing Fox now is not how families operate.

I'd wait until January 1st and then fire him and Ted Philips and tell Pace to pick his new HC wisely because if the next HC doesn't turn around this team, he's gone too.
Getting pretty sick of "maybe next year will be better".
Seriously, it's week 2 (Sep 17th) and we're already talking about next year and the draft. For ****'s sake.
For me the answer comes with one simple question: "Do I miss Lovie Smith?"
The answer is yes, and has been yes for four years. I want a smart coach with some fire in him. Not saying Lovie had fire, because he didn't, but I think the Bears need that.

I think the issue with Firing Fox right now is, what's the next coach going to do to make it better?
Who cares if it gets any better. I'll settle for it just being different. This is like watching reruns of the Gilligans Island. We all know that each week Gilligan does something dumb and they don't get off the island. Each week Fox's team looks like they forgot how to play football and they lose. Same old, same old. Somebody or something needs to get this team stirred up enough to play some football. Fox hasn't. It's that simple.
I read this while drink water. I laughed so hard it came out of my nose... Thanks.
I do believe this disaster will remain all season. If they decided to dump him early it will be after Week 4 TNF or the Bye week. Either way I don't think he can be brought back.
