I agree. I like Barnett more than Allen myself, but I am in the minority.
If that ALA def is as stacked as they say, how many less chances does he get to pad his stats b/c of it. It's like that Hous Def w/JJ Watt, Clowney and Whitney. How many 16-20 sack guys can you have on one roster?
Not saying that's the case btw, just questioning.
yeah, but the flip is also true. If it's so stacked, there is lot's of pressure all around and so easier to make a play because the play is probably breaking down. bigger numbers but more opportunities. The real challenge is projecting any player in a different environment. NE always comes to mind here. A Qb can excel there and then just be a schmoe in another offense. We have the edge here because our QBs are easy to project. They can be a Schmoe in any offense.
I kinda do want Deshaun Watson, however now that Sport's Mockery wants him as well, that is a red flag for me.
Why? Over the past years SM has changed and become a much better news site, kinda like B/R. Sure, every once in a while they post a few crazy ideas, but I do enjoy reading Erik Lambert's articles.

It definitely could be, but I think the reverse happens more then we'd like to admit. Again Houston and Den come to mind, when there is that many rushers(again not sure if that's even the case w/Ala) then it's hard to compare against a team that might have 1 or 2.

huh..... and I always thought they named themselves as they did because they made a mockery of sports.
Another guy who stood out was he Clemso LB. Man what a game that guy seems like a monster. Anyone on here follow Clemson and if so does he always seem that dominate?
As a college LB he's good - as a pro he's John Timu . I wouldn't draft him any higher than the 4-5 rd .

I'm looking at Allen less an interior pass rusher, which he is obviously good at, but more as a dominant run stuffing force. The guy had 7 tackles, I think 4 solo, and a sack last night. He didn't pop off the screen, Foster was the wow guy last night for Bama. To dismiss Allen's ability last night is as crazy as taking Watson who was looked at as the third QB, 2nd round guy (who Kiper still has him as a second round QB) as the number one pick. Last night's game meant something, but not everything.
Back to what I was really trying to say, if you want a pass rusher to split time with McPhee, Floyd, and Young go for Barnett. For me, Allen versatile enough to come in and start at both the 5T or 3T from day one and immediately make an impact.
