Its called recency bias,as in the most recent information tends to have an over-large impact on decision making.
Exactly!!!!! I think Pace is smarter than that though and will base his decisions on each players wholistic performance over this past year rather than one great bowl game or combine numbers
Another guy who stood out was he Clemso LB. Man what a game that guy seems like a monster. Anyone on here follow Clemson and if so does he always seem that dominate?

Are you talking about Ben Boulware? He's quite the animal. He has a great LB name because I think back to Peter Boulware when I hear his name.
Speaking of last night, wtf happened to Jonathan Allen? Talk about a non-impact game. Even when he had one on one he didn't do jack. Watson had a good game but I''m not 100% sold that he's the guy because of last night. I do however question whether Allen is a sure thing and if Pace chooses to pass on a QB in round one Inhave NO problem passing on Allen and trading down to get more picks and taking Hooker or a top CB in round 1. It would seem though that as of right now Watson may jump to the #1 ranked QB on many rankings and I would definitely prefer him over Trub or Kizer
Which is why I've been saying for a while now that Barnett is just as good as Allen. The only difference is that Bama's D is considered the best in the country, so Allen automatically gets all the hype.
However when you look at this year's stats...
Allen: 15 games, 10.5 sacks, 33 solo tackles, 69 total tackles Barnett: 13 games, 13 sacks, 40 solo tackles, 56 total tackles
I'm telling you, if Watson and Garrett are both gone you either draft Trubisky/Barnett at 3 or you try to trade down and then pick BPA.

In fairness you add data as it it produced. Last night's data meant more to me than the entire Combine of working out the various QBs this year. I don't care who can jump the highest, or who has an extra 1/10th second in the 40. I don't even care if a guy has Jay Cutler's arm if he also has a midget football IQ and craps the bed in big games. Watson has put together a solid career of data in REAL games spanning years - culminating last night on the biggest stage against an incredibly powerful defense and opponent.
That isn't latency bias. That is evaluating the data that matters most, as it comes in. Yes. Last night's data was important to consider. And I know you know that. I'm not trying to be a jerk here.

I agree. I like Barnett more than Allen myself, but I am in the minority.

If that ALA def is as stacked as they say, how many less chances does he get to pad his stats b/c of it. It's like that Hous Def w/JJ Watt, Clowney and Whitney. How many 16-20 sack guys can you have on one roster?
