Connor Shaw says hit that injured him was “cheap BS”

Bears quarterback Connor Shaw suffered a broken leg in Saturday’s preseason game, and he wasn’t happy about the hit that injured him.
Shaw took to Twitter and scolded Chiefs defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches, writing, “Injuries are a part of the game & I understand that. This should’ve been avoided. No need for that type of cheap BS!”
Shortly after tweeting that, Shaw deleted it. He did not explain why.
The hit from Nunez-Roches did come after Shaw had already thrown his pass, and Nunez-Roches seemed to unnecessarily jump into Shaw. Nunez-Roches certainly wasn’t trying to break Shaw’s leg (the hit was high and the injury happened as the two of them fell to the ground), but it was unnecessary.
This may be a somewhat painful subject to discuss but Shaw's reaction is both understandable and at least partially accurate. He was hit after the release and in such a way I feel there would have been a roughing call had it been the regular season.
Of course roughing or not Connor still has a severely broken leg and the two clowns on the OL who couldn't block the sacker are still around.
So what do you all think? What is a legal hit or as Shaw claims a BS hit.
Shaw has a point but it might actually be a blessing in disguise for him cuz he might have just been cut . At least this way he still gets paid and it probably gives him the chance to come back and earn some more money next season , cuz I think he did enough to make the brass want to have another look at him .
He's not happy with a hit that made his ankle do an "exorcist-like" 360 rotation? Some people you can never make happy. This is a huge shock that he is not happy with that hit.
He probably should just have taken the high road though and just stayed silent about it. People have eyes and can see when the hit happened. Even though he has every right in the world to call it a dirty hit, he kind of comes off as a whiner. It wasn't called, and just staying quiet about it might have been the best strategy. I think he realized it and got rid of it. I'd be thinking the very same thing. Just probably to myself and my closest friends. (ok, so there's only one, but still). No real harm done though either way.

Yep, I do think that's why he deleted it too. The more I looked at is the more I can see the guy could have pulled up and didn't have to take him down with a cross body block but that what happens in these preseason games with fringe players going crazy trying to make the team. It may not have been a "dirty hit" but it was very questionable nonetheless.
LOL Ok, and I hate to be the one to tell you this, but your dog said he doesn't like you much anymore either.

Damn, your dog eats better than I do. If I'd have known I'd be single for this long I'd have majored in home economics instead of business economics.
Prolly a heat of the moment tweet - 9 out of 10 guys will admit they've done the same thing , and the other ones lying . Prolly had a twinge of regret then too , which is why he deleted . Big whup .
