How Do You Get "Closer" With No Starting QB?

Well if you trace the logic based on the past if they don't acquire a competent vet QB as an alternative what choice do they have?  Seriously?

Fox dislikes rookie QBs period and in a year where his back is already against he wall before the OTAs even begin what makes any of us think he'll be OK with starting a rookie QB?  I can't find one reason to think that.

So then we re-sign Hoyer and Barkley and trade Cutler letting those two compete for the starting job?  Neither has proven they can win but in typical Bears fashion of the three vets we'll get rid of the best one and keep one or both of the other two?  LOL  Hell, let's offer Kyle Orton a deal too.

Tony Romo would amount to nothing more than swapping him with Cutler for even more money and it wouldn't change a thing.  Neither is better than the other.  Cousins?  I doubt the 'Skins will let him go and we don't know yet whether or not NE will shop Garoppolo and if they do will we even be able to trade for him even if we do try.

So standing there telling everyone it'll get better with this QB deal so much up in the air is kinda like telling the passengers on Titanic not to worry "we have life boats".  It's the lack of honesty about where they actually sit that's annoying.  There is no plan and that is exactly what Fox said months ago.

I would also prefer to see Cutler replaced for his sake and ours but until we actually do replace him he's still the best QB we have and the one who gives us the best chance of winning.  If he had the blocking and running attack Barkley has had I feel we'd have won at least half of the last 8 games if not more instead of just one.

So trade him if they must but only if they can be assured they've bettered the QB position and neither Hoyer or Barkley can do that.  Crap, we really do look just like Cleveland some days.

No, the difference is unlike you, I don't care that Fox lies to the media. I understand his coach speak, and I really don't care that he doesn't answer questions. 

Then do you speak Trumpese too.  I have some issues with him along those same lines as well.  LOL

One is gonna run my football team the other my country.  Looks like it's gonna be one helluva year.

I'm much more concerned about the guy running the country...as that actually impacts my life. What Fox does or does not tell the media doesn't impact me one iota.
