Many people were upset that the Bears traded away Marshall for what some considered peanuts but it seems the man just keeps doing what he's done to every team he's played on. Every team he's been on it seems he has a monster year right away and everything is just great. The following year things start to change though and if he stays a third year him teams have major issues. This couldn't be all because of one man though, could it? So far it happened with the Broncos, Dolphins, Bears and now the Jets.
Marshall had is usual stellar first season with the Jets which made Bear's fans jealous, wishing he was still on the team but then the second season comes and things don't go as well. He has issues and the team has issues. Things don't go the way they were suppose to and suddenly Marshall is the one every one hears from. He does his usual voicing of displeasure to the media. After that stories leak out of the locker room from other players. It's happening all over again with the fourth team.
Here's an article on some resent comments from a Jets player.
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Jets’ season unraveled long ago, but now the players are taking shots at one another.
Defensive end Sheldon Richardson made it clear after Saturday’s 41-3 loss to the Patriots that he is not a fan of wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
Richardson was told that Marshall called the loss to the Patriots “embarrassing.”
“He should be embarrassed,” Richardson said.
Richardson refused to get specific about what he meant, though.
“No reason. He just should be,” Richardson said. “He knows what he did.”
Marshall said he was surprised when Richardson’s comments were relayed to him outside of the Jets buses.
“I’m a little caught off guard, to be honest with you guys,” Marshall told two reporters. “I don’t know where it’s coming from. I just know there’s a lot of guys in our locker room doing everything they can to lead and bring guys along. It’s not always easy, especially in this environment. He’s definitely a guy that I see myself in. When I was younger, totally different stories, but there’s so much potential, so much growth there, so hopefully he grows.”
So Bear's fans, do you still miss him?
