The NFC North Division is a combined 17 wins and 5 loses 6 weeks into the NFL season!! LOL Holy shit, who saw that comin??
The AFC West is the next closest Division at 13 wins 9 loses.
CHEERS!!!!! FEAR THE NORTH !!!!!! AMAZING!!!
I had to go look at the standings. Bears and GB are sharing the basement. I do think we can beat them though. Hopefully CW is far enough along that he can. Still don't think as a team we are good enough to beat the Vikings. The Lions..... if we hit on all cylinders, I hope for a split. Next year I hope to be right there with the Vikings as a threat to any team in the league.

Point is that the NFC north as a whole is off to a historic start.

Before this season began, I was hoping the team would make improvements from game to game. The offense has new everything (OC, playbook, players & rookie QB). Just get better each week. To the credit of the coaches and players, they have done just that. If they can continue this climb each week, then anything is possible. But that is a big "if" because I would expect the team to have some bad games... the old "two steps forward and one step back" thing. I'm so surprised that the team hasn't taken a step back though... not yet. Incremental improvement, game after game.
After 6 games the Bear are scoring 24.7 points per game and only allowing 16.8 points per game. Now that the offense is coming together, the last 3 games have had 95 points scored. That's an average of over 31 points per game now. Yes, these were bad teams. But the offense is getting valuable experience that should help them execute better and better - so they can beat the better teams ahead. For a young QB1 the experience is priceless prep for those games. I'm thinking 10 or 11 wins is very probable now. Maybe even more wins than that is possible. Just gotta continue this improvement all season long. Frankly, BIH, I think you and your rubber chicken have had a dramatic impact on our season... you should get richly deserved credit. Maybe we'll begin seeing you two on the podcast circuit - or at least on "Lunch with Larry" soon.

We really have been very lucky with our schedule. It has coincided with our QB1 development. He needed some games to get it together and that happened just when he was able to play easy teams. The rubber is going to hit the road in just a few more games. We will have a chance to see just how much better we are going to need to get
