We will see, one way or the other, in a few hours. The Bears never have "easy street" and there are no easy wins. They'd better bring their "A" game today if they are to win. Yes, even against the lowly Panthers. This is our history here. Never take a win for granted.
LINK Jim O’Donnell: Is Andy Dalton about to school the Bears on the perils of an ‘easy’ October? WAS IT THE GRATEFUL DEAD OR MATT NAGY who reminded, “When life looks like Easy Street, there is danger at the door?”
To hear the media fanboys chirp it, that Comfort & Easy is all but certain to run through Soldier Field Sunday as the Bears are expected to roll over visiting Carolina.

The Bears absolutely LOVE to play down to the level of their opponent. Too bad they don't also play up to them. . .

It really is a big game today, due to the fact that the Bears can show they can truly take care of business and stack a win, in a game we SHOULD win. Let's see if Shane Waldron can build upon the positives of last week when the offense took a nice step forward. The defense needs to show they can tighten up against the run. They like to talk about being a top-5 defense, but they are not that until they improve that run defense. They are 19th in the NFL right now, giving up 4.5 yards per carry.
