Wow, we are almost at the bye week. I guess that will give the team more time to get their timing together and for Nate to get injured again.

Logic that went into this:
We have a Top 3 or 5 D. This means we can beat anybody at any time with the lone exception being Mahomes.
The offense is ever so slowly making progress. I need the Light Bulb to go on with Caleb and those deep balls, Swift to be more consistent, and Allen to step up. I'm not going to waste my time asking for the OL to be competent. That's next season.
The Crocodile Punter gives us 10 to 20 yards of additional favorable field position every time he punts. It's so dumb to flex about the punter, but it's true. He's giving our D a lot of extra yards and forcing the opposing offense way back which lowers the probability of them scoring.
We are currently 2-2:
Carolina W Jacksonville W Washington W Arizona W New England W Green Bay W Minnesota L (Their D is too strong for our OL. I have a really high opinion of Flores and that guy can dial up a D like nobody's business.) Detroit L San Fran L Minnesota L Detroit W Seattle W Green Bay L
This puts us at 10-7 and contention for a Wild Card spot.
I am drinking the Kool Aid and predicting a 10-7 season. I'm taking a huge assumption that the D will continue to play as well as they have, and the offense will continue to improve game-by-game as they have. Having the toughest part of the schedule pushed back to mid-November is a HUGE benefit for a young/new team with a new rookie QB1. That may set the table for this 10-win prediction. It's definitely a "glass half full" view:
W Tennessee Titans L @ Houston Texans L @ Indianapolis Colts W Los Angeles Rams W Carolina W Jacksonville - hope they adjust to the big oversees trip though. Jax has more experience playing there. W Washington - this could go either way, to be honest... this is a solid team this year. W Arizona - another team that is pretty decent this year. They played the Lions tough & hung 41 on the Rams. W New England W Green Bay - Drinking the Kool Aid here, but hoping the O is firing on all cylinders at this point. It's home @ SF. L Minnesota - I know it's early, but they look like the best team in the NFCN and are unbeaten. L Detroit - We usually play them tough though. Yes, they are a great team. W San Fran - By this point in the season we will beat them. L Minnesota L Detroit W Seattle L Green Bay - I don't see us beating them at Lambeau.
Tennessee W Houston L Indianapolis L LAR W Carolina W Jacksonville W Washington W (Surely Daniels can't keep up his amazing rookie season against our defense, right?) Arizona L (I could go either way but I don't think this team is ready for a 6 game win streak) New England W Green Bay L (We haven't beat them since December 16, 2018) Minnesota L (They look really good right now) Detroit W (We seem to have their number) San Fran L Minnesota L (Still too tough) Detroit W (Sweep, baby!) Seattle W Green Bay L (See above)
9 - 8; If CW flips a switch at some point, I think the AZ, SF, and GB games are all in play for W's, with a split at best with GB.
I'd say by far Panthers, Jags, and Patriots are best chances for W's. You'd say the law of averages should apply with GB. How many times in a row have they beaten you now?
Vikings showed their familiar faces in the second half last week. That was really disturbing because it was like a team from 2 years ago, out there. So you just might get a home win on them.
9/8 or 10/7. Depends on the Washington and also the Arizona games. Sorry, I’ve been out of pocket. We got hit here in South Carolina by the hurricane. Just got power back yesterday. Contractors coming tomorrow to look at some home issues. Fortunately nothing serious. Our community got slammed hard. Devastating what’s happening.
