This is a fun podcast from CHGO a few hours ago. It is especially good when Cole Kmet joins them and the four guys seem to be having a pretty good time together. Kmet seems like a good guy for sure. One thing that was interesting is when Cole was asked about that leadership meeting with Shane Waldron. Gotta admit that his description of what really happened at that meeting seems more believable than what we've seen promoted by some of the click-bait sports outlets. It is well worth a listen for Coles talk about that alone.
As far as the Bears winning the NFCN this season, they pretty much say it's a long-shot but you can't rule them out at this point. The team is getting better every week - especially Caleb. How good can they be by the time the division games roll around? It will be interesting.

that leadership meeting discussion starts at about 40:00 to about 43:50. Definitely a diffferent impression than what was presented in the click-bait media.

+1 There is so much garbage being floated out as truth, by the people covering the Bears. And once someone puts this stuff out, we see a lot of other people re-reporting it as truth. More than ever before, I think we are wise to take everything we read with a grain of salt. It may be distorted stuff. It may even be totally untrue too. This really began in earnest when we drafted Caleb Williams. In that particular case the lies that were printed seemed to have the focus on damaging the young man's reputation. I still come across stuff on social media, where people continue to believe these things that have been proven to be false. And they continue to spread the untruths. It reminds me (personally) that I need to be more careful in what I post about these players. At first, I honestly believed that Caleb Williams (before we drafted him) was some kind of nut case guy. Instead I found out that he is a very mature young man who is intelligent, articulate... and just seems like a nice guy.

Sports Media is the most toxic thing this side of nuclear waste. I don’t believe a word of any opinion piece so I just stopped reading them entirely. All of that stuff is designed to enrage and get clicks.
I do put value in analytical videos of Caleb’s QBing and things like that but otherwise I avoid sports media like the plague.
When I need sports entertainment I will watch McAfee but it’s strictly for entertainment and fun. I never take anything on that show seriously.
It's gonna come down to which team controls the division. Gonna be some intense games within the division this year. Something that hasn't been prevalent in the past.

You'd think that the team that does make it through this to the playoffs, will be battle-hardened for a serious run at a super bowl appearance. Not saying it will happen, but that the team should be mighty powerful and have a shot.
