As a Hawkeye fan, we haven't seen anything yet. It's amazing to me how I don't see much metric analysis on deep pins, flipping the field, probability of 90+ yard drives, and the advantages of hang time.
I can definitely see this guy winning games for us - because of the defense we now have too. We saw some of that in this last win. With the game still very much on the line he put the opposing team in the shadow of the goal post and our D feasted. We won. Think of the impact of this guy on our win column over the next 10+ seasons... and in big games like playoff's, and maybe even super bowls. The guy was a Day-1 starter too. He will probably start in 200+ games for us. Dude is an awesome weapon. I can see how a 4th round pick on this guy versus some depth player, made sense.

It's like the second coming of Ray Guy. Can he coffin corner kick?
I was skeptical of this pick at the time as who the hell uses a 4th round pick on a punter but TT is convincing me I was wrong. The crowd went wild Sunday when he bombed that key kick inside the 10. He's winning the fans over for sure.
Now all he has to do is develop a decent throwing arm for the occasional fake punt play. Teams will be expecting a deep kick so we should be able to pull off a good fake once in a while.

Imagine how fun it'll be in a few years when it's time to extend Taylor and we all unanimously agree to give a punter $10M / year. This despite arguing nonstop about every other extension in Bears history. The one thing we will all agree on is to break the bank on a punter.
