I really need Caleb to start connecting on those deep balls. Overthrowing WRs is becoming a very common occurrence for him.
We should win this game handily, but what I'm really looking for is improvement from Caleb.
Maybe I'll tack on to that and add that I don't want to see that short pass to the side that seems to fool nobody... the D guys nail the receiver for no gain. I've seen that fail through multiple HC regimes here. Wish they'd tear that page out of the playbook and burn it.
Another thing to root for on Sunday is for Swift to have another good game.
Last Sunday was a weird one. The guy was running straight into defender for 1 to 2 yard gains.
Then all of a sudden it's like a different player (a good one) was wearing his jersey.
He ripped off some good runs. Had some good receptions.
It would really help the offense if Swift started cooking.
It sure would be encouraging to see the team stack a win here. It is already encouraging to see Caleb getting better each game now too. Hopefully Shane Waldron can continue to get better, and the run game build on what we saw on Sunday. On a side-note, remember when we thought the 8.5 over/under on the Bears this season was low? I'm thinking (now) that was probably very accurate. And it won't be easy to hit that bar level.

The Bears can already look past this game on their calendars and prepare for their next opponent. All they need to do is throw their helmets out onto the field and that will be enough to secure the victory. No way the Heat Miser can pull out a win against the Bears at home.

The talent is there, at least on offense. Everything except the OL but this is the thing that makes the rest of it work. And Waldron has become a question mark. Flus remains one

That's my take on it too, BIH. The OL will get improved in the off season one way or another. In the meantime I'm just watching to see how Waldron and Eberflus perform. I'm trying to keep an open mind about both of them until this season plays out. It could go either way with them.

Exactly right.
Your opinion is the same as mine, therefore, it is correct.
