Not bringing in Harbaugh over Flus was Poles biggest mistake. Not only is it affecting the ability for the team to progress. It affects wins and it will affect the team for years. If Flus gets replaced, now we start another cycle where we have to partially reset. I know we have seen it many times, but it sucks to see it yet again.

While I totally agree with you that getting Harbaugh should’ve been the easiest coaching decision in Bears history we will never know if the McCaskeys would’ve allowed it.
I do not believe the McCaskeys are serious about bringing in top flight coaching.
They’ve had 30 some odd years to do so and they never have.
Sportsmockery....so the opposite is most likely true. Look for an extension for Flus to be announced any day now.....
Sportsmockery is a mix of trash and some good stuff too. Some people complain that it is just re-posting other people's content. That's true. But I appreciate how he digs this stuff up so I can go to the source and read it first hand. Often I would have missed that stuff if it were not from Lambert. Re-posting is what we do here. I can't throw stones at Lambert for doing the same thing.
I figure we all have different preferences as far as sources for Bears info. We try to post a nice selection (a buffet so to speak). And people are free to read what they want, and pass over anything they don't like - due to it being from a source they don't like. I have sources I don't like (ChiCitySports is like experiencing fingernails scratching a blackboard). But some like the sources I don't like. That's fine.
