Colts’ run defense was awful, until the Bears came to town.

Meanwhile, Washington OC Kliff Kingsbury has Jaden Daniels looking mighty good.  For the season, after 3 games he's passed for 637 yards, 80% completion percentage, and no interceptions. He's got 809 yards total offense (172 rushing) and 4 touchdowns total so far. That's all in 3 games so far. He knocked off the Bengals tonight 38-33.  Yeah, he's developing Daniels into a really good NFL QB1.

It's Tuesday, so I've calmed down a bit after the Sunday loss.  It is never the loss itself that gets me so frustrated, but rather HOW we lose.  And I'm not at all disappointed in Caleb Williams.  He is not the problem.  And he did show some growth and development.  This team feels so much like the teams of the past.  Some years we attain mediocrity.  Some years we don't even reach the mediocrity level.  So often it's a pitiful offense and a sub-par offensive line.  Both are fixable.  But we don't fix them.  Year after year, coach after coach, GM after GM... we don't get it done on offense.  Through 3 games the offense (not including defense scoring) is averaging 13.33 points per game.  13 points isn't going to win you much in the NFL.  We have a rushing game that is 31st in the league as of today - with our lead RB, Swift, averaging 1.8 yards per carry for the season so far.  How is that even possible 3 years into the Poles/Eberflus era?  1.8 yards per carry is not a typo.  SMH.

I get it that there is a new offense and a rookie QB.  But the offense should be executing better than this.  

Yeah, if Eberflus can turn the season around then I'm a happy camper.  It is fair to get an entire season in the books and do a fair evaluation.  I'm not a fan of pulling the plug mid-season.  I realize a lot of people would disagree with me on that.
