I loved this. He especially likes this defense... it's legit good. He also makes it sound like this offensive line can fix some things this (it is not hopeless). Waldron has to do better too.

The problem with all this is that the OL could have been fixed after the first game also. Am I missing something as to why what fixes are being put forth now could not have been done after the first game. The problem is they were not. So I wonder what makes anyone think they will be this time? Not criticizing.... just trying to ask a genuine question. I mean we could be saying this after every game.

That's a valid point. But you have to believe the coaches should be able to get better play out of this OL unit. It should not be THIS bad, even with these players. Swift getting only 1.3 yards per carry last week is crazy bad... I can't imagine they can't do better. Some of the problem seems to be confusion as to blocking responsibilities. Surely they can work on that this week so the players understand who they are to block on given D plays, right?
Jobs are on the line here. Not this game but certainly this season. Shane Waldron probably has an opportunity to get a head coaching job if he can showcase a solid season as an OC. But. If he continues the clown show, he will get fired here and probably have a pitiful job - certainly not an OC. Wouldn't you think he would leave no stone unturned trying to get this O on track?

Yes, that was my hope after they crapped the bed during the first game
