Alex Brown "Anderson did whatever he wanted to Braxton Jones..." No he did not do a good job last night, no he was not the only one doing his job last night. The Entire OL was garbage, again.
Whats hilarious, this group(not the 2 ex players just the main 4 from this site) lauded the getting of Allen and Rome and didn't second guess the OL and how that was going to be a problem. This was so obvious, it was so obviously going to be a bad time w/how this team is constructed. Def and toys on O w/no OL equals just as much frustration as no toys no qb.

I'm worried we now need a LT as well as a C and two G's. Jenkins looks bad too. Getting tossed around like a rag doll. I'm so glad the Bears did not extend him. Thayer criticized Braxton Jones play earlier saying the guy looks like he failed to do the strength and conditioning needed to get stronger in the off-season. He questioned Brax's commitment. Thayer played OL at a high level and knows OL like the back of his hand. If he thinks Braxton Jones is crapping the bed, then he is. davidl - he is NOT doing well.

I've never bought the hype of Jones, he always came off as replacement level, just like the multitude of other LT's the Bears have drafted and tried to prop up there. He's only played well w/a TE next to him. He gets rocked otherwise. Jenkins scares the hell out of me. I'm really hoping that Wright and Jenkins are just struggling while trying to over protect everyone around them, even to some extent BJ, who doesn't normally look this bad.
They need to draft/FA an OT, 2 OG's and 2 OC's, at minimum, possibly 3 OG's. you need at least 1 starter at OC OG, possibly 2. The OT you bring in needs to be able to legit compete and possibly win one of the 2 OT positions, then start the better of the other 2 and let the 3rd sit on the bench.
This OL has been a joke since before Cutler retired, That is at least 3 GM's that have decided an OL isn't important to how a O runs, and that young qb's don't need to develop behind adaquate protection.
Only PFF and their fanboi's think BJ is a quality OT.
