LT Kiran Amegadjie LG (nobody... Bates was officially listed as the backup to Jenkins even though he's played RG C is Doug Kramer now RG Bill Murray RT Matt Pryor (who really blows chunks as a tackle... not bad as a G though)
That is "it" and if you don't believe me, check out the official Bears depth chart (LINK)
Holy moly that is not good. Our starters are not that good, but if one goes down the backups are REALLY not that good.
Oh brother, Ryan Poles really has really struggled with iOL acquisitions (FA & trade). Hasn't had a solid hit there.
Lucas Patrick was a bust Nate Davis looks like a bust Ryan Bates isn't off to a good start either
NO bueno.
Nate Davis is the Velus of the OL. He manages to suck yet still keep his job.
I get so tired of how the OL ends up hurting the team most years. I looked over the depth chart as far as where the team is at right now. It sure doesn't look good for our season. We WILL have more injuries. This is where the OL is at after only 1 game. Yikes.

when you don't draft, you are dumpster diving other teams waste. Very few quality OL are hitting the FA market.
Poles has 0 excuses to have put so few resources into C and G. He's put exactly 1 quality pick into the OL, Wright. Needs to spend more time worrying about the OL and less about all the pretty shinnies things.
I'm also glad the Bears didn't extend Jenkins so far. Dude has regressed and looks pretty bad. Getting tossed around like a rag doll.
Makes me wonder if it's change of scheme. Tevin did say he's been doing what he's been coached to do. IMHO Bears miss D'Onta Foreman right now. Or somebody that can run aggressively through contact. Maybe Roschon Johnson is that guy. I felt like some steam rolling and popping has been what was lacking and desperately needed to get the running game going and Swift isnt that type of RB.

I wasn't particularly excited about the Swift signing either. Guy was kind of an injury bust in Detroit and seems to be more of a backfield receiver type than a true 3-down-RB to me. I didn't want Josh Jacobs either FWIW.
For me, RBs are the juice that isn't worth the squeeze. It's CMC, Saquon, and then...everyone else. No one in the league besides those two guys moves the needle all that much and I wouldn't waste money on any of them. I would have been fine going with Herbert, RoJo and a late round rookie or Ian Wheeler (if he hadn't got hurt).
Its early but so far Swift and Everett have been disappointments as weapons and neither of them can block a mild breeze.
