LOL, he had me on that one because for a second or two I thought wow, what the hell is a "Beras Scheme" and when did we begin using a 4-man version of it that involved 4 edge guys? It sounded pretty cool... we were running a 4-man Beras Scheme this year and teams better watch out... LOLOL

Well, historically, the Bears were gamechangers. We invented the T-formation, the linebacker position, the 46 defense, incredible kick/punt returns, Suh traps, and the over-abuse of screens. I guess why not get credit for naming something the Beras scheme? Better than the out-foxed offense, the tuckered-out defense, The Be yourself and confuse your own team gameplan, etc.
