I'm not so sure, he's holding the book right side up!
It figures. LOLOL
Let me clarify and say I'm not down on KW long term as much as I'm convinced he's far less pro ready than he's been previously billed to be and I'm just not buying this "secret weapon" deal at all. Even if they are holding him and the rest of the offense back simple execution of basic plays is still required and so far KW hasn't even shown he can do that well.
I posted the article because I thought it was both amusing and that it would provide some fodder to debate. As for the author I'm thinking of checking to see if he lives here in Denver so I can ask him where he's getting the stuff he's been smoking. I'd like to try some. LOLOL
I am concerned, not a the panicked level yea but close. I watched White closely in the Chiefs game, and I don’t see him gaining much separation at all. There was one medium-deep route, I couldn’t tell if it was an out route or a skinny post, where he had a couple steps on the defender (the throw was 5 feet past him), but other than that nothing much. Perhaps worse, he doesn't seem particularly explosive off the LOS. And where are those routes he was supposed to stretch the defense with?

The wait was agonizing, but fans quickly regained their excitement when reports of White’s physicality and speed began to spread. Stories of how White was humiliating the starting Bears cornerbacks became more and more common throughout July and August. Finally, a healthy Kevin White was going to make the wait worthwhile when he hit the field for the preseason. At least, that’s what everyone thought.

Or is it that he was humiliating a secondary that anyone's grandmother could also humiliate?
Either way, we won't know anyhting abut this team until after a couple of the real games. and whatever opinion we develop then will likely change through the year as the rookies get more experience. I still have faith in Fox and crew coaching the kids up.

Yea Wild Bill! Who doesn't love a good conspiracy theory!
Well, me for one.
Ya'll know I'm all about optimism; I'm still not worried about this team that much. Pre-season is pre-season and every team has their own things they want to see before they cut their team down by almost half. That said, I have no problem sipping on some orange Kool Aid, but Wild Bill's is about one part Kool Aid and 4 parts uncut Kentucky Moonshine.
