Wow, so much for the veteran QB, although maybe he's PS material. Bears going with 2 rookies and a 2nd year guy (Bagent from D2). The NFL has evolved on O and the Bears seem comfortable with the new ways now. I love how they poured everything into Caleb, and not doing the old school thing of having a deadbeat veteran getting snaps with the #1's. Instead they worked him hard and worked him against the #1's on D too. Granted, he seems like a rare talent and a lot of rookies can't start right away. But the Bears got their guy and rolled with him bigtime from day-1. Love it.

Rypien did well for us. I'm not sure that another team will pick him up given his complete history. Would be nice to put him on the PS, but I don't know the rules on that. He may have been in the league too long to do that?

I'm sure Reed will be on the PS over Rypien. I felt he had a good grasp of the O. To bad Johnson never did much after that first game. Had hopes for him.

I liked Rypien but it sure looks like QBs at that level are a dime-a-dozen. He looked like he had marginal arm strength (but LOL, maybe that's just me imagining things too).
