The Chicago Bears Preseason finale proved one thing.

I’d rather win 4 preseason games than lose 4.  Positive vibes heading into regular season.

And I'd add one other positive.  This coaching staff has had major upgrades since last season ended.  These 4 games showed a well-organized coaching staff that had the players ready to play at a high level on game days.  No small thing for Bears teams.  Did you notice how few stupid penalties there were?  I did.  And all 4 quarterbacks ran a pretty smooth offense with few mistakes.  The defense overall looked really good too.  Obviously, when the 4th string guys were out there it got a bit ragged.  But the upper depth players and starters looked ready for regular season football.

I am sure hoping this is the case.  Better coaching staff, as well as better players as well as an elite QB1.

Just a data point.  The 1985 Bears were 1-3 in the preseason.  A meaningless data point.  Just as meaningless as having a 4-0 record.
