Talking to a buddy of mine who's a Seahawks fan he said he actually liked him and thinks he could develop into something good. We'll see what Washington can do with him. I'm thinking this means Walker is gonna get kicked inside more often when Dexter needs a blow. We don't really have another 3 tech on the roster.
I agree. He could develop into something. The Seahawks just got frustrated with him. The Bears have better defensive coaches than Seahawks had last year, so that might make a difference.
Today a number of knowledgeable people are saying this was a great move by Ryan Poles.
Interesting that so many people think it was a good move. His stats don't support that, but stats reflect both a player and the situation he was in. Hopefully, he will do better in Chicago

I thought the exact same thing when I heard about this trade. I looked at his stats and grades (yes, the dreaded PFF stuff) and came away thinking that this was a pretty underwhelming player. But then it was interesting that a lot of Bears' sport coverage people seem to think this was a good move and he will be a legit help to the Bears this year. They must believe he can be better here in this defense. I'm like you and hope he will do better in Chicago. We'll see.

No, that CAN'T be true. I've been told a million times it's only the result of the player, and I've been told I'm stupid for not understanding that!

So then it would also make me stupid for understanding that you don't understand that?

He’s better pass rushing than run defense. That’s not just stats. I watch nearly all Seahawks games. With better coaching, maybe he can play under control, cover his gap, etc. That’s what I’ll be watching.
