Hopefully this time we will actually see progression and have fun being in the driver seat of the Bears fan train. Sure the will be ups and downs, but I believe it will very entertaining to watch.
I so agree. Looking back, in hindsight, it is heartbreaking to see how poorly these teams have been built. I find it an embarrassment. Bad GMs. Bad coaches. Weak rosters on offense. I don't know how this version of the Bears is going to be. But at least what I see now, looks reasonable reasonable team building. So far, anyway. My gut feeling is that the verdict is still out regarding Eberflus being the guy... but he could be. And I'm thinking Poles needs 2025 to be "The Year of the Lineman" for both the D and the Olines. Both are not "there" yet. But if the OL can stay healthy (probably not happening) then it could be a really good season for the rookie QB. The Bears will be fun to watch. But, if we have some injuries on the OL and it falters - and Caleb is doing his Justine Fields imitation running for his life - then that will be tough to watch. That will probably end up an 8 win season... and just 1 more win than last season, and 3rd or even dead-last in the NFCN is going to be tough to endure.
