So many good choices, but with the recent O-Line history, I'd have to go with Kreutz as well. But could you imagine Peppers or Mack opposite Sweat?

Hmmmm, maybe we should putt together an all-time All-Bears team...

We have a new center. I want to see him play before I decide he needs to be replaced. We went after him pretty hard and I have to believe there was a reason for it. I know for sure we don't have anyone opposite Sweat that is worth a darn

LOL, you mean we don't need a 4th center? We're down to only 3 now (Bates, Shelton & Kramer). What if a random but lethal meteorite hits the practice field and takes out all three guys in training camp? You can never have too many centers on a team... right?

It's the death valley days of the off-season right now. Nothing to talk about to be honest.

You're right. I had never thought about the meteor scenario of hitting the three centers but causing no damage to the rest of the team. That is why we look to you. You think of things that we miss. Given that, yeah, I'd have to go with Olin. You can never be too careful.

I was the ghostwriter for that book. They reached out to me as soon they knew they were going to include the word dummies in the title.

A good photo of Gale Sayers and Mike Ditka. Don't they look so young here? I think this was taken at the old Wrigley Field venue in 1965 (their rookie season). Both Hall of Famers. Both drafted in the same draft of '65. It makes me wonder if this might happen again with both Caleb and Rome (someday) being in the HoF too.

Dent makes sense cause we need that rusher opposite Sweat. Dan Hampton or Tommie Harris would be fun as hell in this defense. We have good LBs but Urlacher was tailor made for this type of D.

Hester purely from greed, I'd love him to have a full career solely as a return man and with our current WR group there'd be no pressure outside of maybe gadget plays.

Forte would rock in current NFL landscape and really any of the greats at RB.
