And they rate them in the bottom-half of the entire NFL. Are they really that bad?

I see two grammatical errors just in that quote. If they can't even construct a proper sentence, how can they be trusted for their opinions?

Is the word “male” a noun, adjective, or both?
Either, but not both at the same time.
Because pictures is plural, "differs" should be differ. And" the past few year" should be the past few years. Now maybe they were typos, or they just put the one s in the wrong place, but even a simple grammar checker would spot those errors. So, lack of editing and review. I don't mind that on a forum post from a phone screen with tiny letters and fat fingers, but an article by supposedly professional journalists should not have those simple mistakes. Thus, I don't trust the content of the article. Plus, I disagree with the ranking, so I'm nitpicking just to have a little fun.

+1 LOL, you know it's the off-season when we're doing grammar instruction on the forum.

That dog was a male. It was a male dog.
I was just watching an old episode of ER where a British doctor claimed the British only use it as an adjective.
It has been awhile since weneedmorelinemen lectured us on the proper use of a well-formed ellipsis. This would be a good point in the off season for our refresher course on that (I know I'm rusty).

Meanwhile, I’m watching a show about wolverines. A reindeer weighs about 300 pounds. A wolverine weighs 20 pounds. The wolverine killed the reindeer. She also fought off a wolf. Pound-for-pound champ.

Man... who used to use these all the time? Was it Sayers-Payton-Benson? I'll have to check... The Wayback Machine to remember.
Also... when I use ellipsises... in my head I read them ... with Christopher Walken's voice.
